The carpenters of the company Zebau are constantly receiving further training and professional development: Our carpenters have already completed altitude training for the second time. On 14.1.2010 we went high onto Predigstuhl in Bad Goisern - of course in glorious winter weather. After the theoretical part, we immediately applied the acquired knowledge. They are now best trained to work on the dizzying heights where no scaffolding is possible.
A Krainer Wall is a composite system of round wooden logs used for slope stabilization.
In this country, alpine huts are still usually built in traditional round timber construction. The advantage: no sawing work / sawing costs - the logs can be processed directly after being stripped.
Outside, the 240m long, covered Zebau wooden stairs lead to the entrance of the salt mine, and we were able to build a giant chute in the interior of the salt mountain.
