We were awarded a contract from the Austrian Alpine Association to build an extension to the Gmundner Hütte on the Traunstein. Landlords Gerald and Sandra Auinger are very happy with their new alpine lodge, and are also glad that the construction did not affect the daily operation of the "Hütte".
In autumn 2009, we built an extension for washing and toilet facilities, as well water treatment works for the Rieder Hütte in the Höllengebirge Mountains.
The Hochweißsteinhaus was renovated in the fall of 2009 - we did this carefully, in order to preserve the special atmosphere of the old house: Extensive additional construction of new basement, utility room and sanitary areas in timber frame construction, including integration with the existing roof; shingle roof with solar panels; stone adjustment; larch wood cladding, etc.
During the summer months of 2009 / 2010, we completely renovated the Heinrich-Schwaiger-House near Kaprun, and also built the drinking water and sewage treatment works.
After its renovation in the summer of 2010, the Schafbergalpe station was once again as resplendent as in 1893. We have taken particular care in reconstructing all the details from the early days of the Schafbergbahn station (e.g. bench with wrought iron, ornamental gables, lattice windows, mottled brush-finished larch wood boarding, etc.).
The Rinner Hütte is situated at 1473m on the Karst Plateau of the Totes Gebirge Mountains. We set up a plant purification system here in the summer of 2010, whereby the waste-water is now cleaned through sand filters and reeds. Extensive blasting and hewing works preceded the construction of the sewage treatment area.
