Two direct extensions were built onto this house:
1. Modern timber frame construction with larch wood boarding and floor-to-ceiling windows and a bright appearance.
2. Extension for the entrance area in a darker look - to establish symmetry with the old house.
The outcome: A lot of additional, bright living space!
After its renovation in the summer of 2010, the Schafbergalpe station was once again as resplendent as in 1893.
We have taken particular care in reconstructing all the details from the early days of the Schafbergbahn station (e.g. bench with wrought iron, ornamental gables, lattice windows, mottled brush-finished larch wood boarding, etc.)
This Ausseerland house has undergone a complete change after the addition of a veranda and the construction of a new "Vorhüttl" entrance area.
A warm home for the animals was created in light wood, reconstructed from an old stable building.
